Hey, Everyone!
Look, I do not ever post things on forums like this one, so you will have to excuse my lack of expertise in doing so. Feel free to correct me when I screw up, no offense will be taken on this end. This is the most you will ever hear from me as I think that the game is superb and I want to see it improved.
All right, here is a little background on me because I will probably be a frequent poster here, so you should know who you are dealing with and what motivates my comments.
First off, Fight Night Champion is the BEST boxing game I had ever played and I am playing it pretty much daily. It is a ton of fun and I don't think that there had ever been a better boxing game. I am looking forward to give you my input about the game and my wish list about how to make it even better.
So. I am a 52 year old white male. I started fighting in grade school, then continued in high school and then also in collage. By that time, I bought a pair of cheap Kmart set of boxing gloves that I carried around in the back of my '65 Rambler to duke it out whenever I could. I fought bare knuckles and with gloves on with my friends, learned martial arts in Seattle in Bruce Lee's school on First Hill from Taki Kimura. I started boxing in that class where the senior instructor was a Philippino man and all his students were Philippinos with me being the only white guy in the club. We had an aging black pro who came in from time to time and teach us some tricks. Our sparring sessions were really fights as we could not control ourselves, so we just went for it. I started to coach a kid at age 10 who could not really fight as he was so small, so I signed him up in a boxing club. The coach there asked me to fight for him which I did, then I took over the coaching job from him when he had family problems.
I had 5 fights, won all, 3 with a stoppage. I also continued fighting bare knuckles with my friends getting drunk so I would not hurt my opponents and vice versa. I fought the 10 year old when he became of age and he wanted to at age 16. He is in his 40's, still fights and has problems finding fights.... He is a cop, married with three kids and I fought him before he became a Marine and went off to Desert Storm. I am a retired cop as well after 20 years.
So, you know all about me and I want to help with this game because it is a winner!!!! This is the best game I have ever found on boxing and it only needs a few minor improvements.
