TWITTER WATCHStevens camp rejects Golovkin offerUpdate: Tom Loeffler, Managing Director of K2 Promotions, informed Fightnews.com that the offer was made and “we are waiting for the response which should be after this weekend.” Meanwhile, after some earlier Twitter posturing by Stevens and Main Events that created a firestorm of outrage, Main Events has tweeted that the offer is still under consideration. If it was up to me, I’d fight a champion right now. But the question is, do they want to give me a shot? I’m high risk. Nobody wants to get in there and get hit by me. If it was up to me, I’d fight Gennady Golovkin because he’s the most feared middleweight. I’m calling him out. People are scared to fight him, I’m asking to fight him.” Continue on FightNews.com
