I'm a huge stat and ratings junkie. I want my sports games to be as realistic as possible. I feel if a company advertise a game as a (sim)ulation stats and ratings should reflect real life.
There are companies and people within these companies who think many fans are not concern with every little thing about a sport, they are wrong. Fans pull their hair out or have temper tantrums if their players or athletes are not represented correct.
I'm a huge boxing fan and it drives me crazy when companies like EA don't get boxers stats and ratings correct. The CPU AI should respond like it's real-life counterpart.
I always wondered how a text-sim can get realistic results and 3D consoles systems can't? Many of these text-sim games are on point with the rating and stats. I think it's more of the individuals within companies who don't want to do their homework.
